Healthily and Recordati Italia Forge Groundbreaking Partnership to Pioneer Medical Artificial Intelligence in Italy

Healthily, a leading innovator in the field of medical artificial intelligence, proudly announces a strategic partnership with Recordati Italia, aimed at redefining healthcare services for professionals, pharmacists, and patients in Italy.

The agreement signifies the first step toward a comprehensive alliance, aimed at establishing Italy as a frontrunner in medical artificial intelligence. By leveraging the transformative potential of AI, Healthily and Recordati Italia, together with a network of strategic partners, are committed to enhancing human performance in medicine and revolutionising access to healthcare services.

Recent advancements in computing power and algorithm refinement have propelled AI in medicine to remarkable heights across various sectors and specialisations.

This progress opens new opportunities for personalised navigation, therapies, and the streamlining of medical services. The potential benefits are profound, impacting healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and patients alike.

Estimates project the AI market in medicine to be valued at $188 billion by 2030. As AI and machine learning technologies evolve, with only a fifth of global healthcare facilities adopting them in 2021, Recordati and Healthily anticipate a paradigm shift within the medical and local healthcare sectors in the coming years. The partnership between Healthily and Recordati is positioned to catalyse this transformation.

Healthily has pioneered a digital health service platform, anchored in proprietary AI technologies. This includes the first efforts to create a medically validated ChatBot, powered by cutting-edge Large Language Models (LLM), with the objective to offering medically verified content, an AI-based symptom checker (medical device), and a User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI) based on global best practices.

Healthily is at the forefront of research aimed at providing a medically/scientifically verifiable and certified AI chatbot — a virtual assistant on medical topics. This is a very complex task, given the unpredictable nature of Large Language Models, but Healthily is uniquely positioned to address this issue thanks to its combination of medically verified assets: a vast medical library and a medically validated ‘choice navigation’ solution.

With more than 8 years of leadership in medical AI, Healthily has been recognized globally, receiving the NETEXPLO UNESCO award in 2017 and is a founding member of the AI For Good campaign sponsored by the United Nations.

The collaborative project between Recordati and Healthily aims to launch the Italian version of the platform by 2025, delivering reliable medical information services that can be verified from a medical-scientific standpoint. The partnership anticipates the development of a service that meets the needs of Italian patients and doctors.
